Integration of geophysical data and numerical models to analyze the style of Calabrian Subduction.

Different geophysical evidences of the Calabrian Arc region are investigated in order to widen the current view of the geodynamics of the region. We focus primarily on the shallow signatures of the regional geodynamics in the study area, in particular on the crustal velocity structure, the shallow seismicity and seismogenic structures and the gravity anomalies. Data analysis is accompanied by numerical modeling of the crust-mantle evolution during subduction implemented to quantitatively support the data-based proposed hypotheses about the geodynamics of the region.
