Palaeontology mechanic preparation Laboratory
The laboratory is used for the delicate work of removing fossils from the surrounding rock matrix, by using different mechanic and thermal techniques, and for cutting fossil specimens along specific directions in order to make serial sections.
The laboratory is equipped with sieves and might be used also for selecting macrofossils from sands and fine grained gravels.
